About
Krista Jimenez
Krista is a Master’s Level Practitioner who is experienced and resourced in working with relational trauma, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and anxiety in youth and young adults, Krista also works extensively with parents battling a loss of identity, mood changes, and increased worry. She aims to shift focus and help parents celebrate their children, creating an opportunity for connection. Parents learn to acknowledge their past traumas and patterns to address inherited dynamics and identify successes they can reflect on. Krista assists in identifying what is working and building on strengths. The end goal is a renewed parental sense of identity and clarity and a more united and understanding family unit.
Krista takes a client-centered, trauma-sensitive, and mindful approach to counseling. Trained in childhood anxiety and complex trauma and certified in social-emotional learning and Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), Krista strives to meet her client's unique needs by incorporating a variety of modalities, including somatic and energetic treatments.
Krista has made her goal to aid you, as her future client, in recognizing and moving beyond past experiences while also providing an opportunity to feel how these experiences show up in your body and interactions with others. If this sounds like something you would like for yourself and your children, Krista would love to work with you!
