Jennifer Spiess, MA, LMHC
Jennifer Spiess is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in the state of Massachusetts who has 10 years of experience providing therapeutic care to children, adolescents, and families. She has worked intensively with individuals who are struggling with complex trauma, PTSD, adjustment disorders, depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. Additionally, she has extensive experience working with families and couples who struggle to effectively communicate in an effort to find common ground and to work towards conflict resolution.
She completed her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology at Assumption College with a specialization in working with children and families.
Jennifer utilizes eclectic therapy to best meet the needs of the individuals and families with whom she works. Her approaches include person-centered and cognitive behavioral therapy. She operates from a trauma-informed and strength-based lens that is emotionally focused. She is an LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC ally and supports her clients from a culturally mindful framework.
