Jenifer Maloney

Jen is an Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who has been working with children, adults, and families for over 20 years. Jen started her career working in a residential facility with at-risk youth and quickly found that working in the mental health field was her passion. While Jen worked to obtain her Bachelor's Degree from Leslie University and her Master's Degree from Boston University, she held a variety of positions working with incarcerated individuals, people with substance use disorders, and children and families.

Once she obtained her Master's Degree, she continued to hone her clinical practice as well as develop and utilize leadership skills in the non-profit sector and has overseen both residential and community-based programs providing clinical supervision and training, program development, and oversight.

Jen specializes in working with individuals, families, and couples. She is trained in conceptualizing and treating complex trauma, PTSD, adjustment disorders, anger management, anxiety, depression, chronic mental illness, and mood disorders. She also has expertise in co-occurring disorders, including substance abuse. Jen takes an eclectic approach, tailoring her methods to each client’s unique needs, goals, and preferences.

Clients who work with Jen can expect honesty, warmth, and a down-to-earth approach. She values building strong therapeutic relationships while remaining direct and compassionate. With a blend of humor and accountability, Jen helps clients achieve their treatment goals while encouraging personal and professional growth.
