About
Danielle August
Danielle is a Masters Level Practitioner with multiple years of experience working in early childhood programs as well providing clinical treatment to children, adolescents and adults. She enjoys working with all ages children with behavioral difficulties, mental health disorders, or concerns with school, interpersonal, or familial relationships/functioning. Their aspirations may include finding balance in life through the development of tools to empower them to overcome obstacles, build meaningful relationships, and gain a deeper understanding of their emotions and themselves.
Additionally, Danielle works with young adults and parents. In this work, goals may include establishing coping skills, learning distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness, relief of symptoms, or other goals the client may want to address.
Danielle utilizes a combination of various evidence-based principles, including CBT, DBT, and ACT. Additionally, she offers clients art and play in the therapeutic space. Art allows clients to express complex emotions, and fosters self-discovery and emotional release, while play engages clients in exploration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Together, you'll navigate challenges, uncover strengths, and embark on a journey toward well-being. Danielle invites you to take the first step by reaching out to set up a consultation.
