About

Callie Long
Callie is a warm and compassionate licensed clinical social worker who provides a safe, supportive space for individuals navigating neurodivergence, depression, anxiety, and the complexities of medical and psychosocial stressors. She has a deep passion for working with individuals who are deaf but were not socialized in the deaf community, as well as those healing from acute and complex trauma. Her ideal clients are those who want to make meaningful changes in their life, and who need support in attaining those goals.
Callie employs expressive arts and animal-assisted therapy as two primary therapeutic modalities, while fostering creativity and connection in the healing process. She is also trained in EMDR, which she offers as an adjunctive treatment for trauma recovery. With an introspective and flexible nature, Callie adapts to each client’s unique needs, offering thoughtful guidance, reflection, and practical support. Callie has a strong social justice lens and actively works to provide equitable and fair treatment.
Taking a holistic, multidisciplinary approach, Callie appreciates how biological, psychological, and social factors intersect. She values collaboration and works to foster a close working relationship between her clients, their natural supports, and treatment providers.
She has over 10 years of experience in the behavioral health industry, working within and across community mental health settings. This includes supporting individuals with complex trauma, single episode trauma, anxiety, depression and chronic illness. Additionally, Callie works with the deaf community, but she does not use sign language to communicate.

When working with Callie, one can expect a deeply empathetic and insightful therapeutic experience where safety, trust, and healing take center stage. Callie works to make this happen by offering in-person and telehealth appointments.
