Dr. Anna Berin
Founder and Owner
Dr. Anna Berin is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She received her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University in Keene NH in 2007 and became a licensed clinical practitioner in 2012. She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) in 2013 from William James College that was formerly known as the Massachusetts Professional School of Psychology (MSPP).
She spent 15 years of her professional career balancing clinical practice with senior leadership roles in the non-profit community mental health (CMH) sector, while also challenging the status-quo of an underfunded and overworked workforce. Opportunity for self-reflection, desire for meaningful change and search for work-life balance led her to pivot away from CMH to group practice where she successfully married her two loves: clinical practice and leadership services are the foundational elements of Berin Psych Inc.
Furthermore, Dr. Berin is passionate about creating spaces that reflect authenticity, promote meaningful conversations, and help to push the boundaries of psychological comfort. She is known for her grit, her perseverance, and for taking paths least traveled.

Dr. Berin appreciates that everyone has unique strengths. She aims to create the scaffolding needed to optimize a path for change. She and her team provide psychotherapy and counseling services to children and adults. In doing this work, Dr. Berin helps small and large organizations to clarify intention from impact, discern wants from needs, and to implement actionable steps necessary to reach goals.
Berin Psych values what it takes to become a skilled mental health practitioner. Recognizing and appreciating the efforts of our team establishes a practice of care that extends to clients served.
As such, mutual respect is a building block in our foundation.
